"Called Unit18 Automtoive to get a quote to replace my front disc and pads on my Audi TT. They advised me that they would not be providing a quote as they feared/assumed I would take that information back to the Audi dealership for them to price match whatever Unit18 Automotive would have quoted. Not sure why they thought this even though I clearly advised them that I had already informed Audi that I would get the remedial work else where and without mentioning this to Unit18, Audi already advised me that it would be fine and understand that the work could be carried out elsewhere a lot cheaper than the Audi Dealership. Sure, all companies can decide who they wish to provide quotes too. In this case Unit18 explained the reason, which I believe shows very little professionalism and business acumen. Almost childish from Unit18 automotive to jump to such conclusion and not even bothering to provide a quote. Even if Unit 18 were offering services for free I would not use them just on the principles of such unprofessionalism."

"After doing some research on VW specialist garages locally, I found one based in Milton Keynes. I decided to go with these guys as they made me feel comfortable knowing that they deal with VW group modifications. I own a MK7.5 VW Golf GTD and I have begun upgrading it’s parts. My first upgrades are the displayed Racing Line 600 Intake along with a Stage 1 ECU map. They quoted between 220/230BHP. Although they don’t have access to a dyno, they did assure me that the ECU map is designed and tested against unmodified cars. Verdict, so far so good!"
