"Would give zero stars but not an option. The worst tesco in Ireland, only go if I'm desperate. Poorly stocked and poorly staffed. I attempted to purchase a bottle of wine this evening but because the checkout didn't recognise it I was told I just couldn't buy it. No attempt whatsoever by staff to rectify the issue as i specifically wanted that bottle. I was sent off to pick another bottle even though there was a queue as insufficient checkouts open despite there being numerous staff standing around chatting. Two more issues with the self checkout that the staff had to fix. Then as I was walking out a staff member chases me out to say my card hadn't gone through. I went back to put to put my card through again and she again told me it had not gone through in front of a queue of oeople but in actual fact it had gone through. Her cheeky colleague (who was idly leaning on a rail despite a long queue of waiting customers)then formed me it was my fault for not waiting even though there was clearly an issue with the whole machine at that checkout. Terrible customer service. Over priced and underwhelming."
