"Busy on a mid week lunch with a large group in the restaurant and I think that impacted our experience unfortunately. Interior is welcoming. Food was ok but the cod batter was very greasy and desserts at £7 are overpriced. One staff member was polite the other indifferent so a mediocre experience at a place which I imagine is really lovely but that wasn't my experience on the day."
"Had a great stay here! The staff/management were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us. The food is also excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning."
"Nothing wrong really, just standard. Tapas sharing board seemed mostly just from jars with good chorizo, calamari and whitebait but bland meatballs, no sauce and nothing to dip the seafood in. My pork belly with black pudding mash was good, but partner's steak not great, chips only ok, poor sauce."
