Reviews of National Trust - Rhosili and South Gower Coast
"Absolutely beautiful. Well worth a visit. Keep young children and dogs on a short leash. There are unfenced cliff edges and roaming sheep and ponies. Cafes, pubs, toilets, paid parking, accessible walk. Lots of other walks, but require good walking shoes and mobility. Long, clean beautiful golden bay to walk, but only accessible via steep steps."
"Very neat shop and facilities. Filled with items related to the area. Displays were immaculate with everything labeled and priced clearly. There's plenty of the usual stuff (maps, tea towels, postcards) as well as the unusual (locally handmade Christmas sheep). There's a selection of food and drink from snacks to sarnies, pasties etc. and benches outside at which to sit and eat. Prices vary widely but generally aren't too high. The staff were all friendly and pretty laid back."
"We visit here every year to see the sunflower fields. It is a bit of a walk but on a lovely day/evening its gorgeous. Not ideal with pram/ pushchair or wheel chair . Views are incredible. The guys running the sunflower field have a range of refreshments to buy. Just as nice to take a picnic and make a day of it . One thing I'm yet to time right is the tide so you can walk out to worms head . Parking is £5 for the day"
"Such a beautiful location the scenery and fresh air makes a huge difference to lift the spirits after the years of pandemic we have had. My father used to always take us here for a nice trip to see the location which has slowly gotten better over time, the location is great but it's the food and drinks you can get here which is so much better. I have always loved to come here and sit down and watch the world go by and it seems it has grown in popularity. We had a lovely time and enjoyed an ice cream on a hot day. I highly recommend it. Go early and enjoy your day. If you found my review helpful please press like. Thank you"
"Well laid out car park with plenty of spaces. No need to faff with a machine, a helpful PERSON was there to issue tickets and give information. £6 for the day not too bad . Good facilities including clean toilets, showers, NT shop and pub/restaurant (Worm's Head Hotel). Good access to the beach via a well constructed path and occasional steps. The bay was stunning and the sea perfect for bathing and surfing. Dogs were having a great time too and, thanks to considerate owners, were not a nuisance to anyone. The beach was very clean."
