"Went to karaoke on Thursday with four friends spent £40 to £45 on drinks but was then told we needed to buy more drinks packets of Chrisps peanuts or pizza as wasn't spending enough . Left early as felt. Humiliated went back in for an explanation from the manageress half hearted apology she blamed the customers for not spending enough money she then went on to tell us they were considering putting a £5 per head deposit for tables as we take in between 8 and 10 people the majority of the time that would be 40 to £50 to book a table it is basically a bar, not a restaurant so this is ludacris we've been in about 15 times in the last year 3 times We've had problems with table bookings I have help run a meet up group for the last 6 years and have always had a good rapport with local businesses never been spoken to as badly as I have been this time well not be going back as not subjecting my group to this behaviour seriously disappointed add to"
"My granddaughter and I had a fabulous time at the Robin Hood panto put on by the wonderful Printers Playhouse at the Birley Centre. Well done Viv and her teams of fairies and elves!"
"We tried this venue as a place to use for regular live music sessions for our band. I seriously cannot believe the totally childish reaction we received (after spending over £100 in the bar and listening to our friends playing live. It was almost like our children reacted to a swear word, (clearly never used in this 'bar'). My advice is NEVER use this as a live music venue. There are a number.of other, more ' normal, and indeed busy venues than this. #woke #childish"
"Phenomenal vibe and feel to this hidden gem, came during a Caribbean Kitchen Takeover and the food was to die for!!! Rum punch on entry should be the new standard :)"
