"We sat up in the gods to see Fisherman's Friends and the show was absolutely amazing, best show I've seen in years, simply brilliant. However to get to our seats up in the Gallery we needed climbing spikes, an oxygen mask and a parachute!"
"Went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Theatre Royal Brighton, as part of its UK tour. Staff were excellent, very friendly and guided me and family to seats very well. Being from Brighton myself it’s very convenient as we didn’t have to rush as though we had to go to London and family worked out the price of the show and parking was actually cheaper than getting a bus."
"I always love coming here to see shows. The vibe is always lovely, the shows are top quality and the staff are fantastic. Plus anything to do with ATG membership is brilliant as far as I'm concerned"
"Saw the Rock Orchestra perform here last night - not bad but also not amazing. What I thought was the 'warm up' was a chap with a guitar and keyboard with his friend with a Cello (which was unfortunately hugely underused). The lead chap was an exceptional vocalist but incredibly arrogant and clearly loved being centre stage.... he asked, throughout the entire performance, about 10 times how 'Brighton was doing'! They played about 8 songs, all of which were quite slow and even some of their original music. This created a rather sombre atmosphere and then we went straight into an interval. They started late and then the 15 minute interval turned into 30 minutes. The orchestra finally came back out - I hate to say it but they were very much second rate and relied on the chap from the start to keep the audience engaged. They started with a strong choice of songs which seemed to dwindle. Overall an enjoyable evening though and not as bad as I've probably made it out to be! However the theatre itself is old and remarkably cramped!"
