"DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX. I bought an integrated fridge freezer in 2018. After just over one year the freezer fan became faulty and the whole fridge unit was then replaced by Electrolux under ears warranty. I thought maybe just a “bag egg” and all would be ok. Nope…In July of 2022, only almost three years later the fridge started beeping and the alarm symbol started flashing and I noticed the same issue again - the freezer stopped working and food starting to defrost.. I reset the machine and turned it off therefore losing all of the food I had in it which was a major inconvenience and even more expense. When I turned it back on the alarm symbol was still flashing and it kept beeping again. I did more troubleshooting turning the temperature up and down and it was still not working. The manual that came with it did not tell me anything and was useless. I rang Electrolux support and I was told that resetting it was the only thing they could do and they did not know if the issue was repairable. I was asked to pay a call out charge to get the technician to take a look it. I knew that they wouldn't be able to fix it as it is the same issue I had last time when the whole unit had to be repaired so I was not going to pay this fee and then have to pay for a new fridge freezer on top of this. I was told that there was nothing they could do as I had the fridge freezer replaced less than three years ago and it was a nearly a year outside warranty. I have since had to purchase a more reliable brand. I have now had to purchase a new fridge freezer from a more reliable brand as I have now been without a working fridge freezer for over a week. I am extremely disappointed in Electrolux and the service I have received and expect to hear from you soon regarding compensation. A fridge freezer should last a lot longer than one year or three years. The typical life expectancy of a refrigerator should be a lot longer than that. It is unacceptable."
"I have a problem with my Zanussi cooker. I got through to customer service in a timely manner and spoke to Aoife who was very helpful. I was offered a visit from engineer Bernard who came at time and date agreed. Due to a misunderstanding re reporting of problem within warranty time frame I was directed to Tony complaints manager and he was more than helpful. In conclusion I have found the response of Electrolux to be excellent."
"Oh my. Just off the phone to their service and am still scratching my head at the person's lack of training and lack of customer service skills. It must have been one of the worst service experiences I ever had. Had left several messages on their VM the last few weeks but no call back. Today, not the slightest attempt was made to solve the issue with their appliance. Instead I was treated in a rude manner and referred back to Ikea again (who kept referring me to this company). I ended up doing what another reviewer here suggested and asked Ikea for a replacement. This is probably an issue that could have been fixed rather than having to get a whole new appliance. That would have been the more eco friendly option, but I had no choice. It was this experience that will lead me to avoid Electrolux products in the future and to mention the same to friends & family."
"ZERO for Customer Service!!! It costs nothing to show manners, I wanted to try and replace parts for my Electrolux gas hob. First call the girl was so rude told me had selected wrong option and would have to phone back and select different option and do the same if had a different query. She said could not transfer me even though same number!!!! Rang back got a man who told me do not do this model anymore and would not entertain me about replacement spare parts even on their website I could see what appeared to be the exact same parts as my gas hob model. Again so rude and not one bit helpful- will NOT use your products again or recommend to anyone!!"
"BRAVO ELECTROLUX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ...NON-EXISTING. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX AGAIN! I would highly recommend contacting Electrolux if you are into extreme sports and you want to raise your blood pressure!! would give even below zero stars. I have had an issue with my IKEA/ELECTROLUX freezer for months now. It was already repaired under warranty twice: 1st in March 2021 (first call out was 11.03.2021) and 2nd time in May 2021, but both attempts failed!! On 14.07.2021 I booked the follow up repair, as the fault was not repaired - I was told there is 6 months warranty for the repair. Today, 30/08/2021 I am still waiting for an enginner to call out. I had a booking for an engineer to come in and check it, but I was also told that an engineer would give me a call back to confirm the time (never happened!) and of course an engineer did not show up as well! It is the same story over and over again every time I call. I have had to explain to the Electrolux service department what the issue is many times, and that at this stage it is beyond ridiculous! I asked even if they could book an appointment for me and call me back...NO AN ENGINEER WILL CALL YOU...after explaining the same story again and again. I was lucky once as a compassionate girl from Electrolux gave me the number to check with the company (Service Care Ireland) that is responsible for sending engineers to repair their products - after explaining everything for a zillion's time all I got was: 'an engineer will call you back' - surprise, surprise - nothing happened! I asked if there was another engineer that could do a call out? The answer was "No, as we have only one in the area'. Really?? Almost 2 weeks ago I called twice again. 1st time I was told an engineer would call me in around 30 minutes to an hour to confirm the date/time. As no one called, I rang them the 2nd time (around 3 hours after the 1st call) to check and I was told I had the booking for 30.08.2021 as requested and an Engineer would call me closer to this date - again no phone call and no one showed up. I even asked if they could check with an Engineer if he has the correct contact number for me - what else could I do? Unfortunately, after multiple phone calls and weeks of waiting no one gives a damn about doing anything to solve the problem."
