"The staff at the Four Pears squeezed my Dad and I in during a busy Sunday lunch service and although they made it clear the table was needed in an hour they never made us feel rushed. The restaurant is modern and spacious, tables nicely spread out so you can hear yourself talk over the hum of the other diners. The selection of 'Nibbles' we tried were lovely, whitebait, squid and halloumi fries. I had the Lamb shoulder and Pork Belly Sunday roast. Everything was cooked beautifully, the meat tender and tasty. Veg was great and a lovely big Yorkshire pudding on top. We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu, the Steak and Ale pie is calling my name."

"Excellent Sunday lunch in a traditional village location. Tastefully modernised pub with comfortable conservatory, dining room and bar. Food was excellent, good choice of options for both Sunday roast, pub food and small plates as well as specials and vegetarian and vegan options. Roast lamb and beef option was very tasty and served with all the trimmings. Stick toffee pudding was also excellent, generous portions and high quality food. Highly recommended."
