"Excellent food and brilliant service! I had the Ham Benedict on sourdough and it was just wanted I needed after a morning stroll by the sea. Beautifully presented, the ham was top quality, hollandaise sauce was yummy and the poached eggs perfect! I also had a fresh orange juice - I asked if it was possible to have some ginger and they accommodated my request without charging extra. Finally, I had a hot chocolate with coconut milk and that hit the right spot. The waiting service is excellent - very friendly, checking in at convenient time without being too annoying and seemed genuine in wanting me to enjoy my meal. Will definitely go again (this was already my second visit in 2 weeks)"

"We had our wedding reception at Six - they were absolutely amazing. The venue is beautiful, all the staff (especially Valencia!) went above and beyond, the chef helped us design the menu from scratch and food was incredible - all of our guests raved about it! "A great evening meal at SIX. Staff were great, service efficient. Attentive to the gluten free requirements and due to the seriousness of why it was great to see each plate that was destined for the coeliac had a clear marker to ensure no contact with gluten occurred The starters and main were lovely and good sized, it was a shame that they didn’t have any gluten free bread for a sharing plate we wanted Highly recommended and not a hit of the issues other have spoke about. Only negative was the area we were seated in was near the joining door to other part of the business and for whatever reason this is also where the staff stack the rubbish bags against"

"Great vegan brunch. This is one of my favourite vegan brunch places. When I visit Brighton, I always feel drawn to come here for brunch and have it several times a year. The restaurant staff always provide a good service. The experience is quick, friendly, consistent, and food is delicious. They do great coffee ☕️ and the brunch combination is fantastic. This may sound odd but the toilets are clean, well decorated and designed well which is inviting. It is the small touches sometimes and I always look forward to having a dining experience here. I always leave feeling like money is well spent."

"The food was really, really good and the ambience was lovely. It was a bit noisy at the beginning but really quietened down by the end of the meal. The food was fantastic - especially the starters. We had the duck and calamari, and the best olives I've ever had. The cocktail menu was very small - but perfect. I recommend the Six Sours with Bourbon, which was a real treat. The blonde lady serving was fantastic - she made some very good recommendations for food and was a real pleasure to speak to. The other lady, unfortunately, let the experience down. She asked us if we wanted dessert after we had our starters, dropped a knife in our glass of water and was quite rude at the end when we asked for our bill. There was a very long wait between the starters and main, which I wouldnt mind on a busy night, but it was very quiet so I was surprised by that. Unfortunately, dessert took 25 minutes to arrive and wasnt even correct. I asked for them to take it back and bring the bill and the lady gave me a lot of attitude, saying "well it took 20 minutes to make it". I said she hadnt told us that when we ordered, so she replied "well I didnt know you wanted to leave!" I think she completely missed the point and it really put a downer on an otherwise fantastic night. I will go again, but I will probably avoid that lady."
