"Beautiful views across Strangford Lough. You can have a lovely walk across the causeway to the island at low tide (slippery surface) and walk around the island. Be aware of the tides at all times, you can get stranded as the tide comes in very quickly!"
"Great spot for walk around rough island via causeway ,but check the tides first. Plenty of parking and toilets to,I go here also for easy access to water for some kayaking fun."
"Have experienced both the high tide and low tide, as soon as its low tide pathaay to the island seems clear and walkable, be carefull of the pathway might be slippery some time. Nice place for your dogs as well."
"Beautiful walk along the coast and the island. Just be careful of the changing of the tides, you don't want to get stuck!"
"Beautiful location at North West short of Strangford Lough. Ideal for picnic, or short walk across causeway or around island. Suitable for dogs. Beware of high tide making causeway uncrossable. Toilets open during day. Ruins of small house on island. Great views"
