"Great wee place for chilling out and being meditative with the sound of the waterfall tumbling and churning. Trees, river, walkway and of course the roaring waterfall make it magical. Can be muddy so wear sensible footwear. There's a wooden walkway that leads you to the top of the waterfall and the roar of the water churning sounds amazing. Nice spot and not far from a bistro ( think it's called the Dairy) which is a food outlet for a local farm."
"Amazing waterfall. Also with a picnic table across from the car park for food and a metal shelf for BBQs. If you like cold water dips. Bring your shorts & towel. Quietiest first thing in the morning around 9am"
"Short walk from the car park to the waterfall. Cool views. Wanted to go round the walking trail but couldn't find trail markings, just a bunch of stairs leading to dead ends. Worth seeing if you have time to kill but wouldn't make it a priority."
"Off the beaten track this is another hidden gem. Beautiful waterfall in a little green ravine. More akin to something you would find in New Zealand than in Ireland. Paths, stairs and foot brodges all beautifully build sympathetically with the surroundings. Definitely worth a visit if you are in our around the area"
"visited 29/08/2021 - sat nav takes you almost to the car park location, just a bit further up the road and then small sign to the car park with room for small amount of vehicles. If taking young kids then pram/buggy is out and you need a baby carrier or keep younger children supervised. The waterfall itself is a great sight and can understand why so many people visit. In the car park the graffitied sign does suggest other places to visit around Larne, which will be worth planning for on another visit. Once done at the site not much else to do. Still recommend a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
