"I have had 6 of my 11 piercings done by JP, Always takes his time explaining each step and how he’s going to the piercing, never had any issues with any of my piercings at all, always checks how they’ve healed when I go back for a different piercing. I won’t trust anyone else with piercing me other than JP"
"DONT GO HERE. My belly button got severely infected after having it pierced here as they used numbing spray and a plastic piece of jewellery. I’ve had over 8 piercings and know how to take care of them so it’s not fault on my end. I’m now left with a horrible scar from where it rejected after being incorrectly pierced, I had to wait over an hour to be seen despite having a booking that i’d made days before and paying upwards of £30. The piercer was extremely rushed and rude and insinuated that i couldn’t get a belly button piercing because i was too fat?? As a 16 year old girl at the time that was horrible especially as it was a birthday present to get my navel pierced. The service was awful the piercer was inept at his job and they don’t use safe piercing techniques. Please don’t use this service to get pierced there are many other reputable piercers in nottingham such as Rogue and Silver Lining."
"My 16 year old had an appointment for 2pm on 11/01/23 and didn't get seen till after 5pm! I have been here several times before and recommended the place but even I wouldn't have waited that long! Apologies were given but no reason or discount (a free solution would have been a nice gesture!)was offered for waiting 3 hours!"
"Me and my friend had our nipples pierced at the weekend by JP. Can’t recommend him enough. Everything was clearly explained, including aftercare. He was making conversation and put us at ease. I’ve been going here for 11 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else and the freezing spray is a massive bonus!"
"My daughter got conch percing here on 24th September with her friends which was also her first time coming to this place for a piercing. She said prior to piercing she was given a numb spray but it didn't numb the area at all considering she already had 3 cartilage piercings previously from different places and she knows the pain from the piercing. For the jewellery, the piercer told her to use a bar that she presumed was metal, stainless steel or surgical steel like was given for her previous piercings and when she looked at the jewellery options there was only metal and she thought it was the kind of material she was given as she has no allergy reaction to those three types of jewellery but instead she was given PTFE as she only found out after seeing her friends got the same jewellery on their piercings. She did all the same aftercare with all her previous piercings, Sea salt and sterile water to apply to clean the new piercing. Having said that, the piercing was getting worse everyday right from the start and on 1st October she woke up with a swollen ear and the skin had started to heal over the front ball of the bar. So I phoned 111 as we couldnt get an appoinment to see a Dr and we were asked to go to city link walk in clinic the next day. She was given antibiotics for a week and told to remove the jewellery when possible but the infected had got worse but luckily the bar managed to come out itself. A week had passed but the swelling still hadn't gone down and Friday 8th October we managed to see a Doctor and we were asked to go to A&E at QMC straightaway. My daughter was seen by ENT doctors and was made an Appoinment for the next day 9th October for an emergency surgery to drain the pus of the infected ear and to have a splint put in to keep her ear in its original shape as possible because the infection has slightly damaged her cartilage. The ENT Doctor told us that the infection has caused thickness on my daughter ear and eventhough it heals properly, her ear shape would never gonna be the same as the other ear. We dont know what caused infection but it seems QMC has passed this matter to Environmental Agency and they have already contacted us for more details."
