The location and Barton lodge are perfect - it’s fab to see him running with all the other guests around the grounds and having a sniff fest!! The regular what’s app updates are brilliant and really highlights the way the team care for your family member! We really appreciate the patience the team have and the genuine care they show. "Leaving our dachshund for the first time was really daunting so finding the right place to look after him whilst on holiday was so important! We booked immediately after looking round the place, it’s so luxurious and truly a credit to Neil and the team. We dropped Henry off and were kept up to date with lovely photos and videos during his stay which really put our minds at ease that he was being so well cared for. When we went to pick him up, he absolutely refused to leave and we had to pick him up and put him in the car as he genuinely wanted to stay! Such a special place, Henry is already counting down the days to his next stay!"

"Excellent. The perfect place for your dog to go on holiday when you go on holiday. We left our English Bulldog Wilma with Neil and just knew that this amazing place was gonna be good for her. Immediately on entry to the premises, Wilma was off lead and allowed to get familiar with her new surroundings. The grounds are secure with 24 hour surveillance and consist of large play areas and private woodland walks. The rooms are 5* hotel rooms for dogs with a chandelier, laminate flooring, a large, comfy memory foam framed bed and tv with Netflix. The rooms also have a surveillance camera connected to Neil’s phone to keep a check when they are not out and about. And the thing that i really liked was that all of the residents were allowed to mingle as a pack which is a natural thing for dogs to do. We could go away knowing that Wilma was in safe, professional hands. Neil and his team do a fantastic job."

"I can't praise Barton Lodge enough. Neil and the staff are incredible. This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs for an extended period of time and after a bad experience at another kennels I was more nervous than ever about leaving them. One of my dogs is a rescue and has always been nervous of new people and other dogs and the other has always reacted badly to changes in his routine. Within literally minutes of getting to Barton Lodge both were busy exploring the grounds and not bothered one bit by me leaving. The suites are lovely and clean, spacious and the staff cater to your pet's every need. The daily updates mean you can fully enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that your dogs are having the time of their lives as well. I would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back (in fact we are now looking into booking another trip away knowing how much they both enjoyed it!). Fabulous from start to finish."
