Co-op Food - Old Malden - Manor Drive North

"The worst Coop and retail shop in general to be honest. Staff are SO poorly trained and incredibly rude. Half the time the shop is covered in cardboard from the staff unloading the trolleys in the sloppiest way, they're just thrown all over the place and the other half of time there's only 1 person on the till when the que is the length of the shop. No apologies, no manners, just cold service. Such a shambles of a shop. EDIT*** I still stand by my original review for the majority of staff at this Co op but in a rare incident today, I actually received great customer service from a tall, slender, fair haired young man (didn't see his name) serving behind the tills. He was polite, friendly, switched on and served everyone in an efficient manner & I feel I have to mention the shift manager, Ashley, who was a lovely and upbeat guy! Thank you to these two."

"This co- op store is small inside and very narrow aisle too. It was well stocked only one staff serving the customers. There is a cash machine inside the store to take out money. Also no self service tills at this store."

"I can only say that all the staff there work really hard. I had the pleasure to meet Ashley, Mo, Hamid and Suresh and they are all fantastic people which always go the extra mile in helping their customers."

"Update: please be aware - they overcharge you for items and dont register deals. Look at your reciepts. A lot of the fruits I get from here are mouldy or become mouldy very quickly so I'm not sure of what sort of storage they use. The actual shop is cramped and in no way can follow the covid rules. I always get overcharged, because offers like the meal deal don't go through and u always have to ask for a receipt or you won't get it. Sometimes you won't find anyone behind the till and have to wait a while. On deliveroo their number doesn't work, I always get sent wrong stuff or not the stuff I asked for with no refund. Which causes me issues. co op seriously losing their rep with this store. Last time I'm shopping here."

"I am giving this rating to the sales assistant who was working there on Friday 24/07 @8pm. It was the first time I travelled to Malden manner station. Whilst waiting for my son to pick me up I noticed the coop and decided to go and buy a bottle of milk. They had a special offer on the olive oil so I bought one. On my way out my scarf caught around the person who was coming in as I was pulling the scarf off the olive oil fell and broke. I went in and informed the gentleman who served me, that l dropped the olive oil and there are glass pieces outside and need to be cleaned. He offered to replace it which was very nice of him as I don’t recall any other large or small supermarkets ever made such an offer. Thank you."
