Co-op Food - Streatham Vale

"There is a South Asian looking woman there that needs to be FIRED. I work in HR and she wouldn’t get through the door in my company. Absolute EVIL and DISRESPECTFUL energy. She has a little posse of boys in there who laugh and follow suit on her disrespectful ways. The customer service is ABYSMAL. 1 man in there has manners, we all know who he is. The rest? Call a CULL. NEVER any bags for the self-checkout so we can’t check ourselves out without them. What’s the point? Staff always in the way with their big trolleys. They don’t care if a customer is trying to pass by or get something. I do not leave reviews but I’ve had enough. I’d like to speak to who is in charge of that team. They’re disgusting."

"Good selection of food but absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. There is one South Asian woman at the checkout who tried to charge me £6 for a meal deal. I had to tell her the prices of the items (even though shed scanned them already) and she finally sold them to me for the right price. She didn't give me a receipt and barely said a word to me. On a separate occasion, I tried to give her my clubcard and she had no idea what to do with it. I'm sorry, but it is genuinely frustrating buying from this store when she's at the till."

"Always a good stock available, except in the late evening. Most things are priced well, but the milk is overpriced, compared to Sainsbury's 2ltr bottle. Bread and rolls go quickly. Parking for 3 cars outside or, use the side road."

"It’s very convenient and handy to have a shop that opens early and closes late, the staff are usually very nice and friendly (with the odd exception). My main criticism of the place is the pricing; it is far more expensive like for like than any other shop for brand and even own brand foods. On fruit and vegetables the prices are comparable but the weights are less. Some customers use the place as they cannot get to Tesco or Sainsbury where the prices are lower; stop taking advantage of these people and price match your competitors. Finally when one of your checkout team rings the bell to get more cashiers, come and do it, don’t let the queue stretch all the way back around the shop. You can literally spend more tim in the queue than doing the shopping."
