Reviews
"Lovely theater. Wear warm clothes though as it was a bit chilly."
"Went with my wife recently to see the stage version of "A Matter of Life and Death". Unfortunately, we did not really like or enjoyed their interpretation of it. The converted church building though is nice and intimate. The pricing is reasonable."
"A great setting for local toads plays. The plays are to a high standard. Very reasonably priced. Tickets can be bought online, via phone or at the bocx office. Productions in evenings, plus a matinee. Varied programme. Something to suit all. Do go along. You will love it."
"The Little Theatre is based in a beautiful converted church. Many of the original church features are clearly visible and a delight to see. The whole atmosphere is warm and intimate. Seats are comfortable and arranged in a conventional Theatre layout with good vision from all positions. Wheelchairs access into the building is good, with ample room near the front Theatre seats. There is a cafe serving hot / cold drinks, cakes etc, all ay very reasonable prices. There is also a well socked bar, great for a quick drink at the intermission. Or if preferred, there is good quality ice cream available. There is a free, good sized car park in the Theatre grounds. However due to the Theatres popularity, it quickly gets full. (So get there early and chill out in the cafe). Over spill parking is on the surrounding roads. The quality of the productions is first class. You would never know that this is an amateur dramatic society Theatre. It's as professional as you can get. I've been going to The Littke Theatre since I moved to the area 10 years ago. I've never had a bad experience. I can't wait for the next production in October (39 Steps). The Xmas productions are a wonderful way to get into the Xmas Spirit. All the volunteers staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Box Office in the building entrance hall for tickets as well as an On-Line Web site booking / information services. The Little Theatre is situated in Torquay, a 3 minutes drive, or 10 mins walk from the Town Centre, where there are ample restaurants, fish and chip shops, etc. I am not aware of any buss services to the Theatre area. Finally I would recommend The Little Theatre when visiting the area. You WILL enjoy the experience. For more information you can reference TOADS on the Internet, I'm just an ordinary customer, living in Brixham, and I love this The Little Theatre."
