"going here was a massive regret, horribly dirty, no food despite being a b&b, mugs were in the bathroom for some reason, shower STUNK and the wall was probably crumbling away... also ugly"

"We booked this bed bed and breakfast only to find out that, AFTER paying, no breakfast was available at all. The sign outside does say 'Bed and Breakfast'. We were told to go and find it somewhere else. The website does say: 'A choice of breakfast including vegetarian options is included' - it couldn't be further away from the truth. The whole house at one point smelled very strongly of some African/Asian cooking. The room was very small. All outdated. Quite different than the pictures posted. The fan in the shower was full of dust so we didn't shower afraid the dust would fall down with the damp from the hot water. Also when we called the bell at 'reception' SIX times, no-one came to answer the questions we had. Fortunately we only booked for 1 night."

"Upon arrival, we were met by who we thought was a very friendly staff member to which we found out, wasn’t so friendly. First impressions were very different to the way it was advertised which took us by surprise. We proceeded to go to the room which again, was very different to the pictures. Was very small, very outdated and overall wasn’t the best. Went down and politely asked for a refund and to check out as we were going to go somewhere else and that’s when the woman became confrontational. We asked again and she went on too tell us that “we can’t”. We asked again and then was rudely told that we can’t get a refund. This hotel would be okay for someone older and not wanting anything spacious or lavish."

"Lovely position in relation to town. Parking was easy with £5 voucher. Clean and fresh room and very welcoming host. Only criticism was the position of the kettle with the extension lead was a bit precarious."
