"Popped over to Mount Egecumbe, one of Plymouth's and Cornwall's best kept walking secrets. Glorious walk to Maker and back. Finished up at the Orangery for a 'light lunch'. Staff delightful, food delicious. Well worth a visit. As 'times are tight' check their website menu for prices. I would put them in the budget range of mid to high. Hence the 4 star rating."
"All I can say is THANK YOU so much to Michelle & her team for giving us such a fabulous wedding day. We had an incredible day and everything was just perfect. Michelle & the team are super professional and VERY efficient. We knew that we wanted to have our wedding at The Orangery from the first minute that we stepped into the building. What a beautiful place! Thank you so much again and apologies for what can only be described as a wild evening party! Photographs by Rebecca Carpenter & Katie Goff"
"Really relaxing part of the world. You can grab a take away coffee and a nibbly something and take them to the nearby pebbly beach, or you can sit in the beautiful fountain Garden just outside. Prices are reasonable. Quality is good. We are very much looking forward to future visits."
"August 2022 Wedding Venue Review: Wow, wow, wow. The venue speaks for itself and a picture / visit will show you its beauty, with the garden full of flowers and colour. What impressed myself and my now wife was how incredible the staff and catering are too. In the preparation up to the day, Michelle and her team were attentive, knowledgeable and most of all, calm. We went through all of our planned and decorations with them the day before, and they remember and executed on every single detail. On the day, the staff were there when we needed, but other than that, we felt like you barely noticed them, like amazing wedding ninjas! They were all so friendly, it honestly felt like they were friends by the end of the night. The food was amazing. We went for the BBQ option and it was delicious and filling. They catered for our vegan and gluten free guests and every one of our guests praised the food. Our day was perfect, and the combination of the venue, the staff and the food made that happen. Thank you to the team and I would highly recommend booking as a venue. Tom and Jess Credit to So Belle Photograpy for the picture attached."
"Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Friendly and attentive service. Great quality and value for money. They don't serve the usual cucumber and smoked salmon sandwiches but rather you choose your fillings from a selection. Excellent quality ingredients and the extra pastries, cakes and scones were also very good. Lovely setting too, great for a walk round the estate or the coastal path."
