Reviews
"Nice little carpark. Great starting place to walk to Lady Dixon Park and coffee and snacks at The Stables coffee shop. Just a 55 minutes walk along the riverside. Once refreshed a 55 minute return walk. Highly recommended."
"One of my favourite walks especially in the autumn brilliant for photography depending on what you like taking photos of"
"Beautiful walk and loved the garden with wooden carvings. So peaceful"
"We did a long loop walk from the giants ring and happened upon these beautiful gardens. The planting and range us excellent and the position offers a good viewpoint so well worth a visit. If doing the loop walk including the giants ring I'd allocate about two hours at least depending on your fitness, although it's mostly flat terrain. The grounds can become a little watery so wear appropriate footwear! Best visited on a bright sunny day but generally great as peaceful always and never busy on the three occasions we visited."
"Great spot for walking and water sports. Start here and go to The Giant’s Ring and along the River Lagan or head in the opposite direction towards the Lock Keeper’s Cottage and the cafe there. Apparently it’s a great spot for bluebells too but I’ve only seen a few patches rather than an expected carpet of them."
