"Had an emergency appointment and had my tooth taken out quickly, which was nice. However, my tooth was taken out whilst I had an infection (which was clear that I did because I had swelling in the cheek which was limiting how far i could open my mouth). The dentist hadn't taken any xrays and just proceeded to remove the tooth which was a long and painful process. I was sent on my way without antibiotics and told the swelling should go. The swelling had continued to grow, further limiting my mouth opening. I had went back due to the pain and swelling a day later, which they had put albas where my tooth had came out and prescribed some antibiotics. The antibiotics hadn't worked and the swelling continued to grow to the point I couldn't eat, smile, talk - open my mouth at all really. I went to seven trees where I had an xray and found out that the infection was actually between muscle in my cheek and that the tooth shouldn't have been taken out until the infection was clear. Due to the malpractice, I had to spend a weekend in the hospital to have an emergency surgery to drain my cheek. This all could have been avoided if they had done their job right and followed the right procedures."
"Wow! Big shout out to Dr Roku and his assistant, best dentist I've ever seen in my 57yrs. Superb professionalism. Also to Mark on the desk for managing to fit me in as an emergency and explaining following appointments etc. Thank you all so much."
"Cancelled two appointments with me in a row because the dentist was sick, and then REMOVED ME from the register for apparently cancelling these two appointments!? Of course, I challenged this and was simply told, "It's too late now, you've been removed and there's nothing we can do as we don't have any space" ?!?! Absolute crooks. STAY AWAY."
"Was really good about 5 years ago. This practice has gone downhill rapidly. The good dentists have left, leaving dentists that don't and won't listen, don't care about what you have to say, are rude and pretty ignorant actually. Same old story... Bad treatment of NHS patients but there's nothing you can do because you need a dentist and they're few and far between. Really let down by this practice."
"I feel really really scared about dentist visits but I'm okay with going to this dentist. I had bad toothache and let him remove my bad tooth. He was kind and the nurse let me hold her hand whilst I was a pansy! Really professional. It's my second time going he did a filling before. I would highly recommend smile dental. :)"
