The King Alfred School

"The King Alfred School is a lovely school. Our daughter goes there and she is thriving. She has come on so much these past few months in confidence, numeracy, literacy etc and she is so happy at the school. It's a very welcoming place and the staff are all very skilled and deliver a high quality classical Christian curriculum. We feel its important that children are aware of their roots including the Christian influence upon their nation's history. This classical education teaches children, crucially, how to think and to think in a way that is logical and that critically evaluates information - so important in the modern world. Standards of learning, behavior etc are high while the team run great extra-curricular provision and they provide excellent pastoral and spiritual support - there is a loving and nurturing environment in place meaning that students grow and learn much. We know that our daughter will only continue to excel there and love learning and that she will be well prepared for life."
