"Started off by walking in and not being greeted, but accosted. Fairly unfriendly unless you know them personally or have had your hair cut here for a while. If you want a skin fade, it's great, anything else and you'll find yourself paying exorbitant amounts for very little. I asked them for a certain grade on the sides and back and to shorten the top. I thought this was a perfectly reasonable request, but he said he didn't like that and refused to properly cut the sides or top, besides a light trimming. Pretty naff overall. Decent environment and in a great location, but not worth the £25. Maybe £15 at best. I hope I caught the guy on an off-day as most other reviews seem to be very positive, but I won't be returning."

"After years of shaving my head with clippers and finally wanting to grow my hair again, I had to get back to a proper barbershop. Where else, then, but go and see my old barber Rik at Brik Squared. Great cut and beard trim, lovely chat, went above and beyond, the music is on point and the shop is great. What more can a man ask for? I think I’ll be ditching the clippers from now on as I’ll be back soon. Five stars!"

"Really easy to book an appointment online for the next day. I was seen on time and the barber was informative and chatty which puts me at ease. Shop itself is nicely designed and has some great tunes on. £22 for hair cut isn't bad, and I'll Deffinately be returning."

"Traditional Men’s Barber in city centre. Great haircut from Joe. My hair is straight so he took his time to get my haircut right. Precise and made sure my back and sides were faded well. Nice styling at the end as well. Would definitely recommend and will come back. Barber is located in the Flying Horse Walk arcade. Bookings essential."

In addition this barbers is accessible to those with power chairs wheelchairs and mobility scooters offering it step free access. While there I went for the standard haircut they offered. During the service the staff member it was cutting my hair was really helpful and talk to me through the haircut. Staff were also really talkative and make your haircut that little extra special and personal. After every haircut I've had here I really like the finish. I will be returning again and again and maybe again."
