Reviews of Botanical Gardens
"I visited in Autumn to appreciate the colours of the season and was delighted by it. It's a fine collection of shrubs and trees, generally well maintained, and as a free public park is excellent, but it is not comparable to a carefully organised and labeled specialist botanical garden."
"Out of the 2 inclosed parks this is the bigger one it has a cafe a small pond with streem and waterfall it's a nice place to walk around or sit and relax there is lots of different trees and plants and wildlife to enjoy. There is even a wedding venue wich is closed off when a wedding is on but your still able to enjoy the rest of the area as it's only a small area that gets closed off for weddings. This park has hard paths and step free"
"Pretty grounds which are maintained by the council. I visited on a Sunday afternoon to catch some of autumn tints and there were plenty of those around. There are many benches scattered around, a number have good views of the gardens. It is a place I need to go back and visit again. Parking in the grounds is free and Sunday but it can be a bit difficult finding spot."
"Visited twice in the the last 10 days. What a wonderful place. Squirrels everywhere which is cute. The trees at this time of year are amazing as seen in these pictures"
