"Mixed feelings. Went here for a full service and mot. They were all friendly, nice and approachable. I was just confused when they gave me a list of things that needed replacing (oil filter, pollen filter, etc) at most places a full service includes filter changes. Not sure if I received the right service"

"Well I've been bringing my cars here to Nottingham In n Out for 10+ years & have not experienced this before. Took my sons Clio in for a new back box. £250, bit steep but initially all seemed ok. However literally a few weeks & around 5 miles of use later it virtually falls off. It was attached by PLASTIC ZIP TIES!!! I called & was told #1 this can't be the case and #2 you need to bring it back to us as we can't collect it. At this point I sent them 10+ photos showing this very clearly. So after taking personal time off work & slowly following my son to the garage in case the new exhaust fell off, we returned it. All I got were a load of excuses about the parts etc. I don't care about this. I paid for a car repair. 8 hours later I was told it was ready to collect - so more missed work time for me. I was given a load of more reasons why it was 'hard' to properly fix originally, and FINALLY a very begrudging acknowledgement that this isn't the normal level of standard & that they would "deal with this internally". BUT no apology, no refund, no normal level of customer service that you might expect. It was almost as though they wanted me to thank THEM for fixing their original bodge job. So beware of this garage / service centre. I have used it for years previously but they have lost a customer. Don't make my mistake. I will be raising this with their head office (who probably won't care) and trading standards (who hopefully will)."
"Clueless MOT testers and sales advisors who obviously just see the £ signs and haven't actually sat down and read the test manual in a while. About 50% of the failures found on a vehicle I presented were absolutely unjust, and the advisories were laughable and it was so obvious that they were trying to scare innocent people who don't know things about cars in to thinking they needed unnecessary work. Having had the vehicle retested somewhere else that was independent, it went from 9 failures and 15 advisories, to 3 failure items and no advisories. After some work carried out elsewhere it now has a clean sheet. I am currently considering whether to contact DVSA to report this test station as it is clearly obvious that something is seriously going wrong, either through lack of training or pressure to get customers to spend more money."
