"Very busy and short staffed, they could also do with another coffee machine, that being said its a lovely building and the service was still good and fast and the food was as ordered"

"Good but they like to burn the burgers and it doesn't matter if u send it back they burn the next one too. In fact they have burned the last 3 trips there. Other than that they good. I hope someone see this and make a change. I like going there but I go for wings and burger not burned burgers."

"Sick of being served cold food at Mapperley top we decided to give this one a try..what a shame all Wetherspoons now don’t bother with food quality control..again we were served Luke warm food on a cold plate..hash browns only just warm,burnt eggs and cold dried out bacon when there was about 15 people in the pub..now voting with my feet and would rather drive to the nearest Harvester..only the dog enjoys a Wetherspoons breakfast as he gets our leftovers..you could use that as your next advertising slogan.."

"They CAN NOT Cook steak took x2 attempts and this photo is the 2nd I asked for rare. The serving team just lobbed the second on the table without a sorry for a delay or the inconvenience which was slightly rude. Now I understand its a £10 steak but really! To be honest it's not difficult to cook a steak and some chips? (Warm chips taste better too!) (Having condiments like mustard is nice - none of these available just salt, pepper n vinegar) May be im wrong?!? or is it even if the food is bloody aweful first time we can show a little sparkle and service to appease the customer? or maybe go somewhere else next time...I left feeling like a number and christ that was a cheap experience not for me x"

"Paulette's a credit to the business! No problem or attitude to try before you buy. Some nice plants upstairs on the second floor. This Spoons doesn't have an outdoor space, but does have two tiered flooring. Try the Nottingham local ales."
