"hotel was lovely , clean and very homely. All the members of staff went over and above to make you feel welcome and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast which was inculded in the price of the room as amazing as was the dinner we had on the evening. The food was all home cooked and the portions were huge all in all would be more than happy to stay again also very good to veterans. brilliant"
"The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond and were especially helpful with my elderly mother. The lady serving the meat personally assisted her by dishing up her veg and gravy as she walks with a stick. I do feel there should be a bigger plate option rather than the regular size as the plates are quite small and other diners were in agreement. We especially liked the Xmas decorations as they were a nice touch."

"The room was spotless, do hang on to your cleaner. Staff really nice and polite, the area surrounding is beautiful. Food good and brilliant prices, so was the room. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for hotel in that area. Great food portions. Breakfast was great, spoke to one of the owners at Breakfast she was really nice and down to earth too. Don't miss out if down that way. Many thanks to all your team."
