"My Father and myself had Sunday Lunch in The Kings Room, wow what a lovely room steeped in history which kept my father who sadly lives with dementia occupied, the room and atmosphere was very calming and the lunch was beautiful, we had the Roast Beef which melted like butter in your mouth! The rainbow carrots were the tastiest I'd had! The staff went out of their way to help too..THANK YOU..We will be back"
"Fantastic history, friendly helpful staff, cosy and clean room, outstanding food and service. The best 3 star hotel I’ve come across. To self validate this review and because nothing is perfect, the room was a little bit noisy and only one set of towels, a minor inconvenience I didn’t even mention to the staff."
"Room was very nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Facilities were great and staff fantastic. Only criticism would be the food prices, I opted to eat out once seeing them but other than that can't fault the hotel."
