"11 of us turned up on spec. This was sorted out immediately but it was lunchtime and not particularly busy but even so it was no bother. Each person ordered individually and paid for themselves which gave the chef an assortment of mains and lunch time sandwiches. Food was prompt and service was very good. All 11 of us enjoyed our meal with no complaints ."

"The food was quite nice. I ordered a German pork knuckle which was good, if not a little salty for my tastes. Another ordered a pie they enjoyed it, though the side veg looked like it had been out in the warming dishes for a while as they'd gone a dull colour strange as we'd got there earlier in the dinner time. BBQ ribs were nice too. Kids bangers and mash came without any veg at all which was a bit weird to not serve a dish without any veg at all. Could have added a side portion perhaps. Service was not friendly at all. I phoned as I'd not had a confirmation of my booking and the lady that answered whilst not being rude wasn't particularly very nice over it. (I'd submitted my phone number incorrectly- my fault I want complaining about it but she was really miserable about it) Presumably the same lady served us to take our meals and really was not friendly at all. No smiles no conversation just very matter of fact about everything. I quite like to see people enjoying working in a hospital setting but she quite clearly didn't like being there. Sad cos the food was good with a potential for really good."

"Lovely meal, but ruined by a very long waiting time. Lots of staff standing around talking and not sure what they are doing, we got told if we order a starter or dessert we would be waiting longer than the 45 minute wait, we waited longer than this and we had to ask where our food was, I was just about to give up and walk out then it came. Great food but be prepared to wait long for it. I don't think I will eat at this branch again."
