"I attended Nottingham Bierkeller on the 11th March 2023 and I believe my experience wasn't pleasant considering it wasn't overly busy. We were greeted by the bouncers on the door, who I must say were the friendliest security staff I have ever come across who informed use where the football would be displayed. At the start of the Man City vs Crystal Palace match, approximately 2 minutes into the game we ordered our food which was a stone baked Margherita pizza, a Meat feast Pizza and Loaded Fries. Upon the half time of the match, my partner questioned the bar as to where the food was considering we had seen no food go out yet, including ours. At which the bar member replied with "I'll go and check on that for you". Straight away he went out the back and brought the food out to us which wasn't even warm and it was clear the food had been sat left cold, not even under a heat lamp to keep it warm. With this we had no napkins or condiments brought out either. The loaded fries I believe were approximately £8.00 for pulled pork which had maybe 4 strings of pulled pork, smothered in BBQ sauce and topped with crispy onions. I can't even justify this amount considering there are other venues at which you'd get a higher quality. I understand I'm talking about Bierkeller, yet the food was not even enjoyable. The staff didn't even check whether we were okay with the food, considering it had arrived late, and we didn't receive an apology either. I wouldn't mind yet as a student who is spending her wages in a venue and paying £28.00 for food, and a few rounds of soft drinks, I am disappointed."
"I was in your establishment on Friday night and my nephew who has a disability was asked to leave by a short Asian doorman. When I challenged the doorman he dissappear and re appeared with leather gloves on Ready for war. I am absolutely shocked to your attitude towards someone who is disabled."
"Paid £20 for ticket for R&b brunch and not sure what for. The ‘free rum punch’ was cheap Malibu and orange, had to que for ages to get a small glass each time. It’s called a ‘brunch’ but no food. They did hand out menus to be able to buy food but these were then taken back and we were told they weren’t serving food at the brunch! DJ was terrible and was incapable of playing more than 30 seconds of a song before badly mixing to next tune, then repeated tunes after an hour. Absolute rip off. Advertising one thing then putting in T&Cs that they would not be providing what’s advertised. Toilets all wrecked and flooded too"
"While watching the match on their very good screens, you're offered table service. Cool. But when your drink hasn't arrived for 15 mins, you go to the bar "Oh sorry, we forgot". No worries, this happens, but that pizza we ordered is also on its way? "Absolutely". Twenty five minutes later: no food. Got refund, but no apologies. Lost a group of customers permanently"
"Good place to watch sporting events but wasn’t a fan of the pitchers and a lot of the menu wasn’t available"
