"Overnight Stay with additional Breakfast -we were attending a wedding nearby and booked the Blossom Suite with additional breakfast. The customer service is exceptional here - nothing is too much trouble - Our room was beautiful and very spacious with separate living area. The breakfast was good quality produce and the best we’ve had in a long time - even though this is an extra charge to the room it was worth every penny with lots of choice and variety - we will definitely be back - Thank you! 5*"

"Went here to celebrate my graduation with my family. On arrival we were met by an incredibly welcoming team of staff, each of whom did an excellent job of explaining each of the dishes to us. The food was incredibly tasty and each dish was put together thoughtfully without being overly self-indulgent in complexity. Though I'm not a particularly knowledgeable wine drinker it was more than evident that great care had been put into making sure that each pairing was effective in highlighting or contrasting the flavours in each dish. It should be added the waiter did a phenomenal job at describing each wine. By the end of the meal we were thoroughly stuffed and left feeling like we could have paid not far off double for the meal and still been satisfied."

"Sublime is an underused adjective, but here I think it's entirely appropriate. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like friends. A lovely setting and beautiful rustic aesthetic throughout. The food was on another level. Every course was exquisite, having been meticulously crafted by the chefs who bring it out to you and describe the journey you're about to embark on. This was fine dining at is best without the pretence."

"Wow, where do I start. Deserves 6 stars. Set in an idyllic Leicestershire village this restaurant achieves everything anyone could want from a fine dining restaurant. Amazing, creative food. Carefully selected wines. Attentive, intelligent, thoughtful staff. The only draw back is the distance to get to the village particularly if your party wants to drink alcohol"

"An amazing dining experience. Food was worthy of Michelin star. Service impeccable but friendly. Each dish perfectly described on service. Cannot recommend too highly - if you are local to the H&P, you owe it to yourself to done here. 5 stars."
