"Wonderful food don't get me wrong! Always love the curries from here. But it almost seems like every time I make a order it gets more and more expensive not to mention on a order over £50 we didn't receive any freebies like we always used to such as the red chicken or potatoes and maybe a extra couple poppadoms. Just not the same experience anymore."

"Booked for a family get together 14 in total, from the minute we walked in we were met with lovely staff, once sat down the waiters came and took our drinks order which came in good time, then the food order was taken, the food was Superb all very tasty and everyone was really happy with the portion size and quality, the atmosphere was great and we all felt very well looked after, facilitates were also good, the prices are also very reasonable, all in all a great experience from start to finish, so if you are in or around Ilkeston it’s well worth a visit"

"Normally a safe 4 to 5 stars - food was excellent as always. However, tonight’s order cost over £5 more than advertised. This led to a very embarrassing exchange on our doorstep where we had to transfer money to the delivery girl’s account as you insist on money only payment. We phoned the restaurant to confirm whether prices had increased and were told they had. This is not the issue: we accept everything is more expensive at the moment but PLEASE inform your customers of price changes so they can choose whether or not order. This price increase is not reflected in any online advertising. We would have been totally happy to go with the price increases if we were aware of them. After being consistent and reliable customers, we will not be ordering again."

"The food is ok. Company was a bit dubious some very loud locals all eating chips and chicken tikka. Veg dishes nice and nans are lovely. King prawn Puri a bit greasy on the pastry. The special meat dish a bit odd and too many bones! Place needs a little update but service good."

"Not the best looking most inviting Indian I've been to but don't be put off by its bland decor stale ambiance as the food is gorgeous. My Chicken Shashlik was amazing and probably one of the best I've had, my colleague said his Chicken Tikka Biriani was the best he's had and I really enjoyed my chef special Joy Pour!"
