"Visited for dinner with my friend approximately a week ago and I was so impressed! It feels very exclusive and special. The service was excellent, our waiter was friendly and helpful. It wasn't busy as it was a Wednesday evening but it didn't take away from the atmosphere at all. We had Christmas crackers on the table, which added a nice touch alongside the seasonal menu. The food was absolutely delicious, I had arancini to start and salmon for mains and the portions were generous and cooked perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone and I shall be back again!"
"Comfortable restaurant with friendly staff. Food was very slow to come out (45 minutes plus for each course), but pleasant enough, if not lacking some seasoning. We had intended to stay for desert, but the thought of another long wait put us off. Lots of alcohol on offer, which appears to be a key focus of the business. As such, I might return with some friends for casual drinks and nibbles but wouldn't come for the food alone."
"We visited McKenzies in the city on 17th June 2022 for our 10 year wedding anniversary when we mentioned this to our excellent server we were given 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco which was very kind. The atmosphere here was great and beautifully decorated inside. The food was incredible and the staff were exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We would definitely recommend."

"I love this place. A friend and I went for a festive lunch. Pate to start, it was beautiful. Turkey dinner for main. Potatoes were lush, turkey was tender and not dry. Big bowl of greens to share between us. Yum. For dessert I had a baileys hot chocolate. I will definitely be returning to dine there. Very friendly and attentive staff."
