"I gave the man my chain on 23/07/22 I asked him what is this chain, he took it to the back and came back and said it's fake. Went back 25/07/22 to show him the advert where I bought the chain, he was not there, a lady instead, she took the chain look at it under eye piece and tells me it is silver, I asked for the guy again, she calls him and he tells me to bring it to another jewellers... This is the only jewellers in Chiswick, think we need another jewellers Chiswick. A legit one...? Not saying Platinum Prestige is not. I would thought one jewellers would say is fake and another say it's real is strange. But, for the SAME jewellers to give TWO answers!?"

"I took an expensive watch to change battery after paying £29.00, they lost a screw at the back of the watch while changing battery, and put a dead battery in, I took it back the next day and they put another dead battery in, took it back again only to tell me they need to service the watch for £300. I decided not to and took it to another jeweller who put a compatible battery in my watch and told me they had glued a a crew at the back of your watch. Avoid these people at all cost , they should not be trading and should be reported. If I could give 0 star I would."

"If possible I would give this zero. Months ago I took 3 watches in for new batteries- two of them were old Tissot rock watches. I was told it would be 3 days to do this - 3 weeks later I got them back. The most modern watch was fine. One rock watch was allegedly losing time and needed servicing at a cost of £250. I did not take this up as the watch had been serviced less than a year before - it was not losing time either. The other rock watch I was told had a part missing - it did not have a part missing when I took it in! It simply needed a new battery. Having sent the watch to a specialist whom I have used before and is totally trustworthy , unfortunately it is completely broken as someone has tried to get the battery out with a screwdriver. These people broke my watch and then lied. I recommend them to no one."

"I too wish I had read the reviews and would like to give zero stars. I waited at least 4 weeks for an estimate for a service for an antique carriage clock. I told them to go ahead (although I checked later and the price quoted was about 3 times what it should have been). I then called in every week for two months to find out what was happening and was given a different story each time. I was always told that someone would phone me, but they never did until the final two weeks. One week ago, I had a voice mail saying my clock had been fixed but I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Saturday due to lack of driver to collect it from the workshop. I went in Saturday, but no clock. The (very polite and apologetic) lady told me she would go and pick it up from the workshop that afternoon which she did. Needless to say, it hadn't been fixed. Why can't they tell the truth? Three months down the line, I have my clock back, no charge obviously but a lot of stress. Just avoid them."

"Although the girl working here has, to her credit, a wonderful manner, the service did not live up to this standard. I handed them an expensive, highly sentimental rotary watch to change the battery. The girl initially struggled. She informed me she was unable to do the procedure and she would leave it for her manager. Fine, no problems with that - I'd rather wait and have an experienced person do it (just a simple battery change?!). I returned to be told that her manager was also unable to do it, so they had sent it away. It was returned to me with a definite gap between the back of the watch and the watch itself. I questioned this and they took it back, but when I returned they claimed it was fine and that 'that's just what happens when you change a battery'. I handed over the money simply to get my watch returned to me as I was becoming anxious about it. I am now paying a Samuels jeweller to repair it, but will be chasing them for the cost of this."
