"Having been to a couple of other local vets where our dog was clearly not happy we tried Avenue on the recommendation of a neighbour. It is a calm and professional place where you can tell the staff really care about animals first. Our dog was perfectly happy with the staff throughout her stay (anesthetic and xray). Only down a star as we weren't made aware that for getting the next prescription we would need to give 48 hours notice before pick up."
"Best vets in Bristol I'd recommend them to anyone. I changed from vets for pets after they killed my dog. I was worried about putting my trust into a vets again and at first i was extremely nervous but after several surgical procedures with my dogs I would never change and always recommend to anyone looking for a vets that are professional and care about your pets. They're not a big franchise looking to take money unnecessary they have genuine care for your pets .. Can't praise enough you won't be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"Saw the friendly and efficient Jake today with Mabel. First time Mabel's enjoyed a visit to the Vet. He was very clear and instructive and left us feeling super confident."
"First visit, 5 minutes 100£, I don't need anyone to tell me for so much money and 5 minutes talk that my dog is well looked after. After another visit , when my dog needed scan and some tests, I went to the reception to pay for it straight after visit, few weeks later they bombarding me with emails and phone calls that they made an error and I have to pay outstanding balance of 300£. Very unpleasant and unfriendly. There was no one who after the tests and scan would explain to me what is with my dog and the impact which the illness will have on her, I got 2 minutes phone call from the Vet who didn't actually wanted to talk. They are first to take money, but you get no quality of treatment and compassion for your pet. When tried to explain that it is their error, I made a final payment straight after the visit and their behaviour is illegal they keep sending me emails about outstanding balance. Be careful because in few weeks you may find out you have another few hundreds quit to pay..... On the other hand , I took my dog to other Vet , I paid £50 and a Vet spent with me half an hour talking about my dog and her illness, checking her health and all the results."
"Very friendly staff and my dog was not as nervous as usual in such places. The vaccination went without any yowl or squek. Thanks for your professionalism :)"
