"We stayed at the Wellington for one night for my husband's birthday. It's the perfect place to start a pub crawl. Our room was really comfortable and clean. The bed is comfortable with good pillows and I love the bathroom with a spacious shower. Great selection of tea in the room. The restaurant was jam packed last night due to the football match, but everything had quieted down by bedtime and in the morning it was nice and quiet. I would definitely stay again."

"Stayed here for a single night and couldn’t have asked for much more. Ate lunch on arrival and the food was top notch and reasonably priced (2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks came to £30). The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Heating was perfect, huge bath was a bonus plus the TV and comfy bed. Parking on site was convenient, too. Didn’t have the breakfast and the only downside to our stay was a couple of early wake up calls but that could’ve been other guests which can’t be helped for the most part."

"Great place to stay. Super room, clean and fresh with good selection of tea, coffee, hot choc etc and yummy biscuits too! So easy to have a tasty meal in the restaurant downstairs, then just go up to your room to relax. Wonderful staff, friendly and attentive, especially Julie, a special thank you, for being so thoughtful and kind in looking after us so well. The only thing missing, is the inclusion of a full English breakfast. Had a lovely stay - thank you! X"
