Reviews of Thornhill Park
"Two big fields allowing plenty of areas to play small games of football"
"Lovely park and football pitches. Fantastic on dry days but unfortunately can become really boggy when it rains."
"Bit of a hidden gem. Good clean space for a dog walk or a jog with a dawn chorus and a beautiful sunrise for company."
"A few playing fields, with some ancient, protected woodland to wander around with your dogs. Nice area, flat, plenty of bins, small children's play area. BUT the drainage is terrible. In the summer, it's no problem. In the winter, with the rain, you'll need wellies, as the standing water is inches deep, mud everywhere, and your dogs will need snorkel & goggles, and when back home either hosing down or bathing. Every single time. So, enjoy in the nice weather, but as soon as winter hits, be prepared for the clean up, or head to the Wenallt instead for mud free walks."
"A green open space bounded by houses and trees."
