Reviews of The Dome Apartments Camden
"We travelled from Jordan to move in as planned. The room is awfully disgusting full of dirt and in use ( socks on the ground ) skirting is uninstalled, no-one answering. It’s impossible to sleep in it. So my son left the place and we are in a hurry since his job starts on the 3rd of January 2023. O would rather give you zero star but its not an option"
"Generally a good stay; didn't get great quality WiFi signal. They should probably do reference checks on people; I didn't need to do any reference checks. One person had to have the police called on them; they'd trashed their room - as I was trying to leave the building I saw them re-entering the building naked and covered in blood. A strange experience."
"The toilet didn't work from arrival it overflowed. Television didn't work. Bed was lose and held together with numerous screws. Old broken TV was stored under the rickety bed. Owner of apartments was non responsive to my request for a refund for the night with no toilet. He did move me to a better room the next day at noon. I stayed overnight from 6pm to noon with no toilet."
"Me and my wife lived at the Dome for almost 1.5 years as a long-term resident and have just moved out as we moved back to our hometown. We rented a Studio room which features a kitchen and private bathroom, with access to the public kitchen space (located on each floor and only for long-term residents). At first when I was looking for places on spareroom etc to rent as I moved to London to work, I was skeptical of this place because of its location, price and it being a hotel. However it was one of the best decisions I've made in terms of finding accommodation. The staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are modern and clean with all bills included. Rooms aren't super spacious but enough for a couple to live and you have your own bathroom. Location is easy access to buses and Kentish Town Underground (Northern Line) which go straight to London city centre. There were a few minor issues at first such as shower was going hot and cold but once you report this it gets fixed immediately. Any issues you just email the staff and they get it fixed quickly. There is also a car park at back which you can rent if needed. Cannot recommend this place enough as London rent is so high (especially if you're using spareroom rental site where you're more than likely have to share a bathroom or pay bills) whereas The Dome, which is operated by The Collective for long-term lets, includes all bills, broadband etc so really great value for money. Hands down would recommend to anyone."
"Really lovely little rooms, but the environment was so noisy, I'm not sure who or why there was doors slamming and wheels being rolled multiple times up and down a hardwood floor outside our door at 3 and 5am, it sounded like someone wasn't sure if they were coming or going. We suspected that it was other guests just not knowing how much noise they were making but we could also hear loud conversations in the halls, Carpet in the corridor would help dull the sounds, I was worried someone tried to open our room door at one point which I'm sure was by mistake but it doesn't lend to a good nights rest sadly. We would happily stay again, I'm sure it was noisy customers who were the cause of the disturbance."
