"We booked Stapleford Park as our wedding venue not just because of how beautiful the house and grounds are, but because of the whole team that work there - from the events/wedding team, to front of house, our guests' favourite - the bar team and a special shout out to Raj, they were all truly amazing and made our wedding day spectacular. We got married on New Years Eve and they helped secure us the best suppliers, shipped in a special order of beer and even let us "party-up" their saloon. The food is AMAZING - we had a wonderful tasting experience with the chef and team, and it was better than at the tasting experience on the wedding day. We had nearly 120 guests and every meal came out hot! We would 100% recommend having your wedding here, or even just staying - a few of our guests have booked to stay again and some even extended their stay to take advantage of the spa and more food!"
"Had a 3 night stay as we got married at the weekend! We couldn't fault anything at Stapleford. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff were all so friendly and very attentive. They all remember each guest and speak to you in the passing to ask how you are enjoying your stay and plans we had. The decor was beautiful and the room was very clean and grand. The leisure facilities were excellent and the food was delicious. We are already planning our next stay. Highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself or for a special occasion. Worth every penny!"
"Lovely afternoon having afternoon tea to celebrate my dad's birthday. Lovely touch when a plate of chocolates was brought out to my dad as a surprise. Definetly some where to return for that special treat. Service was fantastic and the hotel itself was beautiful. Highly recommend it."
"Had a lovely overnight stay with my wife. Service is friendly, food is good, and staff try to be very helpful. On 2 or 3 occasions now I have visited , staff have forgotten our order, it just seems at times that the connection between waiting staff and the kitchen has a missing link, and it is obvious that it needs attention. This still wouldn’t stop me re-visiting. Btw, the lady that checked us in and the young man that checked us out were very nice and helpful."
"A bit expensive for what you get. Very nice building. Breakfast looks tired, (why not make the juice FRESH?) as does much of the decor. These things (like a bathtub in our bedroom), and no lift to the upper floors, wouldn't matter much but for £334 per night, you kind of expect a bit more. The guy with a beard on night duty was really helpful when I was having an issue with a taxi driver at 3am when returning from a party and his card machine would not work. He settled the whole affair with the judgement of King Solomon."
