Reviews
"A friendly, caring hotel for cats. Each cat has a little chalet room, with an indoor & outdoor area. They can look out and see chickens and rabbits running around outside in a grassy meadow area.. Ensure you take your cat's flu jab records from the vet. I would have given six stars, but they do need to modernise. They don't have email, so perhaps no computer. Also they take a cheque or cash but no card payments. The owner may not be computer savvy. A Mac or Microsoft computer system could help to streamline their processes; also a credit card payment machine would help. Also they could have longer open hours during the week, when people have limited time to take their cats in or take them home."
"My cat wasn’t given his medication properly, as he returned home with more tablets than he should’ve had left. We also requested he was given additional water bowls due to his illness and he wasn’t, as he was dehydrated and unwell when home. When we spoke to the cattery about this they were very unhelpful. Cancelled all our bookings and won’t use this place again."
"Very friendly service but I picked up my cat the second time he was boarded there and he was so skinny! He isn’t a cat that refuses food. He was all dirty and so was his crate and his claws were overgrown. One of them was even growing into his paw pad. As nice as the staff were, I felt like my baby wasn’t taken care of while he was there."
"Alpine cattery is run by cat caring people so you know your cat will be well looked after. My cat is now 16 yrs old and has been boarded here since a kitten. Would recommend highly"
