"I have been coming to this practice for a year and have always been happy especially when my dog got attacked and I was going for check ups. However, I visited a couple of weeks ago as the lump on my dogs head that he’s had for ages, seemed to be getting bigger. The vet looked at it and proceeded to take a sample from it the lump. The fluid extracted was brown and she said that it could be melanin in the fluid which suggests melanoma. She then advised she would call the lab, which didn’t open until the afternoon to ask for their opinion before I paid for the test. I called back 2 days later and was told that someone would call me within the week and nothing. This was 2 weeks ago, I called in today and spoke to Cheryl, who read out the notes from the vet and it was different from what I had been told. At no point did the vet tell me it was better to have it removed as the tests would be 50% conclusive?? Cheryl was helpful but my frustration is waiting on a call and also the undertone to insinuate that there’s a communication error on my part!!! She’s the owner so she’s going to defend her vets but also I felt that she treated my frustration flippantly. Then proceeded to say that there’s no appointments until next Wednesday and she was trying to help me all through the call. My frustration was not rude but I had made a point that it was unprofessional. I think any dog owner being told it could be serious would be frustrated especially now after waiting so long to be told something different and also that the sample they took was no longer there and had been discarded. I may now just change vets which is a shame. Think the customer service side needs to step up and also vets should be following one protocol for telling clients what to do with advise."

"Always a pleasurable experience, regardless of whether or not we take our pup in for an emergency or a routine checkup. Vets are also highly trained and professional. They patiently explain and empathetic to us as owners. This level of professionalism and kindness carries over into the reception team. Truly amazing."

"DO NOT USE THIS VETS!!! Absolutely disgusting vets! The owner Cheryl is rude, disrespectful and has no idea what customer service is. My dog was spayed here, received inadequate care during and after! Left with an infection 3 weeks after the operation, 2 courses of antibiotics, scrub, a huge bill and just pure rudeness from the staff. We were told it was our fault our dog was ill even though we followed their advice, were not told there was a charge for after care and then sent rude letters from the surgery charging for services that did not in any way help my dog. I have currently refused to pay the last fee as I was not told there was a fee until afterwards. The receptionist hung up the phone, the owner told me there was no point complaining as it would just go back to her and is someone I would not wish to deal with ever again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! UPDATE- as you are well aware I paid for the medication via phone long before you replied! You are a joke and we would never return to your surgery! I have put in complaints above your surgery as you are a ridiculous person to deal with and you are deceptive!"

"My rescue booked appointment for foster whippets vaccine. Arrived & receptionist looked & said it was tomorrow. I explained I had travelled for 40 minutes & was told today. She said hold on. Left standing there with very nervous dog for 25 minutes! Already rang rescue who confirmed it was definitely today. Then another receptionist arrived (back from lunch) & said it was tomorrow, nothing they could do. (only one vaccine). Either sit & wait but don't know how long or come tomorrow. No apology or trying to fit me in. Stroppy looking too. Customer service shocking. Never going back there. Waltham abbey branch were lovely."
