"Despite confirmation that payment by me has indeed been made, a call was placed this afternoon by brightside to me from insurance review team .advised that they will cancel policy in seven days, once notified payment has been processed by them they say oh ok we will wait and cancel next month if unresolved. Very unprofessional and please consider using a reputable alternative company Robert Duffy 2nd review"
"If I could score 0 I would. Cancelled my policy 10 days in advance of my renewal. Then they tried to charge me for leaving which they are not allowed to do. After 3 months of them trying to charge diffrent amounts they decided that they had no right too. 6 months later after sending me emails that I owed them no money they decided I did again. They even decided to involve a debt collector. Who I showed all my emails about the matter and said why would they involve us. Once again it has been dropped. Nobody in the company seems to have an idea what's legal and going on. Also happy to try con a few quid of people. Be warned."
"Watch out for their sneaky auto renewal. Won’t accept fault and that it’s a disgusting policy. Will take out finance on your behalf for your insurance regardless of having no authority to do so. Use sub standard insurance providers who fail to pay out in a timely fashion. (Not just on one, but 2 separate policies) Avoid, go somewhere else."
"Terrible service, had an accident no fault of mine, brightside failed to register claim correctly chased after 2 weeks to be told no claim registered and dispite sending videos and image's of the accident they could not find any details. They said there was no damage to my vehicle. When I registered the claim they gave me a claim no. but still were unable to find it 2weeks later. Steer well clear of this company"
"Totally agree with others who have used this outfit. I have been insured for 4 months paid bang on time. Received an email (which you can't reply to) asking me to forward my driver's license copy, I did and now my insurance is been cancelled saying the details didn't match when I started my insurance. I am British with a Spanish license, I paid well over the odds for this insurance and thought that was the reason. I will be reporting this to the insurance ombudsman !!!"
