"Occasionally get held up but they're usually pretty quick. The warehouse is what you might call old school, which I like. Clean loos. FLT drivers are friendly enough and try to help you out, though they're pretty busy so don't always have the time. They appreciate it if you try to help them (move straps out of the way, level it to how they want it, that sort of stuff.) Once you've done that, stay out of their way (like you should) and they'll load you PDQ. Quite a big site, but security will point you in the right direction. Lose half a star for the really tight bays. Not much can be done about that, so you'd better be good. You will be once you've been there a few times... But ask one of their drivers or the shunter for help and chances are you'll get it."
"I was surprised how rude the supervisor was. The other staff seemed nice but the little guy in the orange supervisors vest seems to have a lot of hatred towards people. In the 2 minutes I was in the warehouse office I witnessed him being very rude to 2 other members of staff before he proceeded to be rude to me. Do you really want people like this working for you?"
"Decent company to work for. Management are down to earth and warehouse manager Keith the pure Yorkshire man is sound as a pound and goes above and beyond for u. Working life there can be fast paced at times but it's well balanced out with the fact no one is on your case. Only Downside is hourly rate for days and weekends but still a cushy little job."
"Totally unprofessional set up. Staff don't have basic training or knowledge in tieing down cargo correctly. I paid a premium price for their service and received my cargo badly damaged. Proper loading plans and instructions were given but we're blatantly ignored. I've veen shipping the same cargo for a long time and never see such poor loading/ tieing down before. When the matter was brought to the management attention they flatly denied the whole matter, refusing to acknowledge points which were indisputable. They didn't even have the commen courtesy to deal on email in a proper manner. I sustained heavy losses on this shipment, the rude and unprofessional attitude from the management just added insult to injury."
"Quick as.... guys thank you very much. Go in deliver the goods and job done. And another day at the office sorted. By that I mean my truck of corse Bannisters being my 4th and final delivery of my working week. And it's home time for the Japanese grand prix"
