"We turned up to book rooms as the hotel we were supposed to stay in had closed down. The receptionist was helpful and told us to book it online as it's a lot cheaper than booking it with her, which was fair enough. It's a good location. Rooms are fine, pretty basic but there was tea and coffee. The bed was awful, comfy but very creaky, every movement made was loud, I mean ridiculously loud. There are only 2 plug sockets in the room far away from the bed by the desk, not ideal but as we were only there one night it's not the end of the world. It was absolutely fine for what we paid"
"I being there for one night with my family while visiting Cardiff. It is well located and not far from M4. Economically it can be a good choice if you visiting Cardiff and it’s surrounding. The receptions are professional and friendly. They have variety rooms which are clean and comfortable. Breakfast fast are good standard. It’s also has car park and EV charging station. Overall I have really enjoyed my stay at the place and highly recommended."
"I always said I would never stay in a travel lodge again after a bad experience a few years ago, but due to a work do, I had to. Location was good as it was in the town centre, but the local nightclub kept me awake all night, I could literally hear the words to the songs! The bed was like sleeping on a brick as were the pillows. The shower curtain was moldy. I can't comment on the service as there was no one there except to hand me a room key. Not a patch on a Premier Inn."
"A great hotel and the staff were really friendly, we had some mix up with rooms but they sorted it out the best they could with minimal disruption. The room was good and clean, a kettle was provided with the normal drinks stocked."
"Fantastic location... right across the road from the train station and very quiet. Carpets in both the room and corridors were filthy though and the shower walls and shower curtain both had black mould on them. I stayed for 4 days, coming and going a lot and not once was there anyone on the front desk either -you had to ring a number if you wanted someone."
