"Visit infrequently but made an emergency appointment after queuing on the phone which is a much improved process compared to to the previous system of getting the engaged tone and having to keep re-phoning. Receptionist was helpful on the phone and in-person. Saw Sian, Nurse Specialist very quickly who was fab and gave me a thorough examination and good advice and prescription. Great having pharmacy onsite. Only fault is the waiting area needs a re-furb as shabby and unwelcoming."

"I am sorry to have to say that this surgery has been less than helpful with my daughter and me. I have never seen a doctor in almsot a year despite asking and the appointments get cancelled . My repeat prescription is always half done . Generally they seem to be avoiding having anything to do with us. We went this morning for my daughter to get a doctors sick note because we couldn't get through on the phone after being told to call between 8-10. When we got there my daughter was told to call after 2. no answer, so we went again and this time was given a self certifying sick note which she could have had when she went in this morning.wasting our time. Looking for another surgery. I was also told that I could have a phoine call to assess my blood pressure. This is not possible as my pressure would have to be taken on a machine. Unbelievable."

"Dr. Anna Cozens was very rude to me this evening on the telephone. I was unable to finish what I was saying before she hung up in her rush to finish for the day. I am shocked and appalled and will be discussing the matter with Gareth Winter as this level of service is entirely unsatisfactory."

"I have always had excellent customer service here and the doctors/nurses are very thorough and caring. Again, had a smear today and was completely at ease. The nurse took the time to explain in detail the process and what the smear test actually looks for. I could not recommend this surgery enough. If I can’t get an emergency appointment in the morning I always get a pm appointment the same day. In other practices the receptionists are unhelpful, at Malpas Brooke they really care: Thank you Malpas Brook for always looking after my family and myself."

"131 calls and 50 minutes to get through only to be told no appointments left I have to ring back on Monday. This is a joke! I work 7-3 so can't spend an hour of my working day every day trying to get a doctor's appointment. This surgery definitely only caters for those who don't work/work shifts."
