"How do you rate a Doctors Surgery... Still no face to face consultations allowed unless Doctors feel it's necessary. Most things are still done over the phone. But with that been the case I did get help when needed which resulted in a successfull operation & outcome."

"Terrible!! you can never get an appointment here…even when it’s for a small child. There needs to be an increase in doctors here or stop taking new patients that don’t even live near. The population is growing so increase your staff and facilities so you’re not having to wait 6-12weeks for an appointment"

"It is becoming next to impossible to get an appointment to speak to a doctor. I have often called at exactly 8am to get an appointment with inexcess of 500+ calls and only getting through past 9am when all appointments have been taken. This frustration is leading me to feel dread whenever I have to call to get an appointment. Mostly receptionist do seem alright once through to them however there are some which let the service down. Whilst I understand they're dealing with difficult situations all day and demand not meeting the ability to supply there is absolutely no need for some of the negative language and unempathertic nature of some of the staff. Thought is not given to people who work or have children. The strict 8am to 9am phone in lucky dip excludes people who take their children to school from the ability of ringing the aforementioned number of times as they will often be out in public, walking their children to school, or driving to work. I in particular am not happy with the last year's performance and non-return to set appointments. When a person manages to get an appointment here you have to be available all day to pick up at a time a doctor decides to call. This can cause huge problems for those who do not want to stay in a private place all day to speak about something which may be embarrassing to them. I have also personally experienced booking an appointment at a set time and it not happening there or there abouts. I have experienced also the frustration of a doctor saying they have called when no missed calls have been received. Given the incredibly hard task of getting an appointment in the first place, for it then not to happen through no fault of your own is so demoralising that I for a fact wait until something has become a lot more serious and call 111 instead. The surgery urgently needs to rethink how it currently operates as it just isn't working at present. The doctors at this surgery are lovely kind people and I haven't experienced a bad doctor here as yet. However, lovely doctors or not, I cannot be waiting months to have a problem addressed any longer. Please rethink how the surgery operates and those who are being excluded or do not have the stamina to try and get an appointment anymore. I hope this is taken as constructive critism as this surgery has the potential to be wonderful once again."
