"Nice basic park with large green space, and trees. Good sized play park with lots of different play equipment. an enclosed court for ball games. Fantastic graffiti on walls done with local youth groups etc. Used by community to host events like Cathays community center to do festivals with arts, music and local services."
"Overall a good park although better for older children as limited for smaller children. But my kids enjoyed it nonetheless"
"It's a local park, there's a children's play area which will be all the better when the Council puts the seats back on all of the swings (removed July 2020 due to Covid). The Multi Use Games Area is used extensively for football and basket ball but loss of wayward balls onto the roof of the adjacent primary school is always a risk. The green space is used frequently for football, cricket and also dog walking - owners are generally responsible but take care. My favourite is the graffiti wall; always something new, incredible talent on display (and all completely legit). The seats were returned to the swings on or around 26th May 2021! Further modifications later in the Summer have seen two swings replaced by a popular 'swing basket' (if that's what it's called) :-) but the other two swings have been replaced with longer chains and are now too low to the ground for taller children (from about age 10 upwards) - unpopular choice. :-( Images of some of the latest artwork added 17.09.2021. :-)"
"Although the park is now open to visitors after the lockdown. The swings which were taken last march have not been replaced despite many requests to Cardiff parks dept. Shame as the children's play area is next to a primary school and heavily relied upon by parents and children. This park has always been neglected by the local councils while the adjacent land is being sold for family housing with more need for the only green space in the area."
"It's ok it's big and used well. I just wish the Cardiff council would not drive on the path as it's pushed up the mud and looks very unsightly. No toilets. But good fencing but the gate are left open. Lots of dogs."
