"Went to little lane yesterday after booking a session when I was still in Coventry. I moved further away and they kindly let me re book once I was settled in which I value. I've knocked one star off for the location as it's very difficult for me being disabled. Will list the pros and cons PROS- *Friendly staff *Reasonably priced cold drinks *Spotless room and play items *Shoes not allowed in main play area *Good for walking babies, toddlers, pre school up to age 4 *Clean baby changing table area *Locking doors to stop children escaping *Sign in sheet for safety-my health and safety husband liked this! There are really comfy adult sized beanbag chairs that I used to breastfeed my youngest. Could see my toddler at all times and there is enough to keep him busy CONS- *Price-its £6.50 in the week which is £1.50 more than tiny town in Nuneaton which has 3 storey play and 14 massive themed rooms so I feel it's fairly expensive for such a small space *Location-you cannot park outside because it's restricted 1 hour bays all the way along the street. You can't park in the next street as it's permit holders only do you do need to go at least 2 streets back and walk in. It's also on a very busy main road *Front doors are very heavy, I couldn't manage them on my own with my baby in my arms, changing bag, toddler. My 6 and 8 year old couldn't open them either, I wouldn't stand a chance of getting my pushchair in without help *Buggy park at the bottom of the stairs is currently open to the street so isn't secure *The little play rooms are only suitable for up to 4 years old in my opinion as my 6 year old had to bend over to get inside and my 8 year old could touch the roof *The play area is only about 10 meters so any more than 6-7 children and it becomes a bit chaotic especially a few older ones running and shouting *Changing table is only suitable for up to 18 months old and 15kg but my toddler is well beyond that in nappies I did speak to the staff and they told me they can help people up to the top and they are getting an intercom system so the bottom door will be locked to keep pushchairs safe. I would visit again once my baby can walk well from the car and bring my toddler but my older girls are too old so I would aim this at younger children"
"A lovely little place with a good selection of different play "houses" for your little ones to enjoy. Even really small children (who have just started to crawl and explore) will have fun here. The atmosphere is really friendly, and there's a nice little cafe where you can order a variety of drinks and food to enjoy while your little one(s) play. You can easily see everything from wherever you're sitting, so you always have a good view of your child(ren) from where you are, and adults are welcome to go in and explore with their kids when they need that bit of adult support. Overall a really lovely place with friendly staff and nice and clean to boot! We'll definitely be coming back!"
"We went here during opening weekend and my son, nearly 2, had a great time! Lots of space to play and the role play shops were fab. A great new addition to Coventry! Would certainly come back :)."
"We visited Little Lane on its opening day. My son absolutely loved it. It’s spacious and has all the popular role play shops you’d imagine (construction, police station, shop, vet etc) Each play shop has adequate toys and props to interest all the children, my son particularly enjoyed the shop and scanning the food on the ‘real’ till that beeped! Lots of fancy dress costumes to try on in the boutique and a large astroturfed area to allow for space to play with the free play toys (space hopper animals and such like). Food and drink was available, (tea/cakes etc) and snacks for the children, plenty of tables and chairs and the whole area is sort of fenced off so I felt safe knowing my child could play without wandering off anywhere he shouldn’t! Would absolutely recommend. There’s nowhere like this in Coventry and now the weathers starting to turn I will be spending more time here without a doubt."
