Howdens - Llanishen

"Very disappointed with them, see doesn't pay to go to the cheapest, kitchen it self fantastic but lets just say deliverys bad, 5 attempts to deliver all of it, and then we still had to pick up door blockers (hole covers). Some wrong size units, not enough worktop edging, edging to doors wrong colour. Also plans and finished pictures didn't match so very confusing for kitchen fitter. And then to cap it off had Email saying that we owned them £500ish, which my wife was so upset, kitchen fitter said he'll sort it out as he said it was definitely wrong, in the end they owed us £426. Wife is seriously ill, as you know, and this didn't help her, as she was so excited about the new kitchen in the end she was so stressed. Had to pay fitter extra 3 days aswel, due to extra work due to wrong units on plains, and literally just sitting around waiting for deliveries. ."

"Great kitchen, helpful staff, kitchen design visit was useful, the design suggested by David made much better use of the space available for the units. Accurate measurements, the units fit perfectly. My fitter collected the units from a couple of different Howdens this meant I only had to wait 1 week to get my kitchen. Very pleased with the whole experience."

"Our experience with Howden’s has been more than anything else … disappointing. Ordering and paying was easy but when the delivery was due our dream Kitchen became a nightmare. In took 5 separate deliveries spread over a month to get all the various parts . A constant feature was telephone promises made not turning out to be true . God knows how many days were wasted waiting on parts turning up . I would never recommend Howden’s to anyone and in the future , if the need for a new kitchen became a requirement I would go anywhere rather than them ."

"I ordered a kitchen from Howdens Llanishen back in August 2020. Amanda the designer was excellent with her recommendations, services and quickness in responding to my questions. However, delivery of the kitchen was due on the 5th of October and only 2/3's of the kitchen was delivered. I had a kitchen fitter booked in for the 12th of October to make sure everything had arrived for him to carry on with his work. It's now the 15th of October and I'm still waiting for delivery on a few items. Howdens have delivered 4 times since the 5th but with only a couple of items each time!! It's extremely frustrating as I've taken days off work to make sure I'm there to take delivery only to find out that they still didn't have stock on a particular item. The kitchen has been on order long enough for someone to go through the itemised list and make sure everything is ready to go for delivery surely? Overall I'm quite disappointed with the service I've had from Howdens Llanishen. The kitchen will look nice when it's eventually all delivered, but the stress of daily calls to ask when the rest of the kitchen will be delivered has been unsatisfactory."

"Hi..I too had problems with kitchen cupboard doors that I bought that were different shades of white that was really standing out and after no less than 2 managers calling to inspect them refused to change them. And as for so called quality an MDF door is an MDF door! Spoilt the my kitchen. Very dissapointed."
