“Great shop will cut timber stock to any size bought four large bolts with washers and wing nuts recently for £2-50 eBay's cheapest was a smaller size and they wanted£2-90 for one bolt washer and nut you can't beat that anywhere”

“Extremely good Builders Merchants situated on the corner of Lewis road and Freshmoors road (just set back off the road). Very understated merchants which have specialist departments containing a very impressive landscaping section, a timber yard (both interior and exterior), one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) brick selection in South Wales, not to mention the heavy civils and drainage they specialise in, amongst others. Again, they have a very understated tool hire department with everything from small hand tools to diggers and dumpers, offering everything you'll need on site. The staff are very friendly, helpful and versitle, catering for a jolly bit of banter with the rough and ready builders, to befriending sweet old Mr and Mrs while they chose some slab for their utility room. Don't think of them as your average sadsack counter assistant that want your money and you gone, they're very knowledgeable and will happily walk you through anything you don't understand and provide you with all the options for you told make the right decisions. The yard staff are also very good. After working there for about 172 years they know everything about the products and are very helpful with loading, they don't expect to see tob strugfle with anything. The hire department is well stocked for most jobs, and anything they don't have available can be ready with a couple of hours or at worst a day or two. The tool hire manager had been around the block a good few time do knows everyone and everything so there's not much he doesn't know to help you through. All in all, if you've ever been to a merchants, you probably have a good mind of what to expect, miserable laddish and unresponsive attitudes, especially if you don't know what your looking for. BUT DON'T BE PUT OFF, if you've never been to Keyline, you should try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised. On a side note, this branch has a customer car park and a wheelchair accessible entrance, but no public toilet.”
