"Not 1 star zero star, I only wanted to change bank accounts! I haven't been able to pay the rent or the product invoices for 2 weeks because they do not work as a team and they work from crib sheets instead of think with compassion. They have had £10315.02 of my money since my old bank account was closed, the last payment was 9th February, I'm writing this on 23rd February. They have said I SHOULD get £5038.04 tomorrow as I signed up yesterday for faster payment so I won't have to wait another 7 days! The rest they are waiting on as they sent it all to my closed bank account. They have reduced me to a nervous wreck and normally I am a strong person. I have phoned every day and the other day they didn't admit to sending to the wrong account, the hold up was their security department. DO NOT USE ELAVON they are thieves that abuse the system and keep your money wsy longer than they should"

"They don’t even deserve 1 star! They’ve stolen nearly £20,000 from us, not only in a cost of living crisis, but just before Christmas! Every person you speak to tells you something different, then you receive emails saying that “you were given incorrect information” - nobody knows what is going on! They’re saying they are keeping our money “just in case” for 4 months! I’ve never experienced anything like it. Avoid at all costs!!!"
"Worst merchant service ever used in 35 years trading. They messed up the direct debit for refunds so they could not process, then said it was our fault. 3 phone calls and numerous other email contact. Finally they sorted direct debit, but then cancel the one for monthly fees, which working fine. Kept saying there was outstanding balance, which was entirely their fault. 12th Oct they emailed saying everything sort and DD's would be properly processed on 17th. But on the 14th placed account in reserve to take monies from transactions going through account. So now trying to take money twice!! 0345 number ends up anywhere in Europe, Poland, Spain etc. Is even dead line outside office hours. All this and customer service says there is no issue with our account! Sadly this is the merchant service provided by Opayo Sagepay. Owned overall by an awful US bank. Terrible service provider, look elsewhere. Preferably UK based and not foreign owned."
